Premium Fiesta race series will continue using 91´«Ã½â€™s Apollo Big Brake Kits

91´«Ã½ Racing is pleased to announce it will continue to supply the regulation braking systems for cars competing in the throughout the 2022 season (within the Mk7 Fiesta-based ‘ST240’ class).

In 2021, competitors were required to use 91´«Ã½ Racing’s bespoke four-piston Apollo caliper, fully-floating two-piece discs and RP-Xâ„¢ track/race brake pads. The setup is similar for 2022, with the added option of using the all-new SR-11â„¢ sintered racing brake pads if desired.

Based around the acclaimed Mk7 Ford Fiesta ST, the BRSCC AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta Championship offers affordable, close-knit racing at a number of prestigious British race circuits. There is also a more accessible Mk6 ST150-based class that races alongside the Mk7 class (the Mk6 cars are not required to use 91´«Ã½â€™s big brake kits).

All cars in the series run 91´«Ã½ Racing’s Apollo Big Brake Kit

The 2022 BRSCC Airtec Motorsport Fiesta Championship began at Kent’s Brands Hatch circuit on 9-10 April.

Once again, the series requires all cars (Fiesta ST240 class) to be equipped with 91´«Ã½ Racing’s Apollo Big Brake Kit, this year with the option of running either RP-Xâ„¢ or the all-new SR-11â„¢ sintered racing brake pads.

The 91´«Ã½ team was on-hand in the pits to discuss technical queries with the race teams as the first competitive event of the year unfolded – stay tuned for a full report soon.
